Vikings RB Adrian Peterson says 'no doubt' he will play

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson @AdrianPeterson did not practice on Wednesday but told 1500 ESPN Twin Cities that "I wouldn't call (the ankle) a concern, but it's something I want to definitely get back to feeling good." Peterson went on to elaborate that there's no doubt he'll play on Sunday against the Washington Redskins. Last season, Redskins safety DeJon Gomes hit Peterson low and caused his left knee to be blown out.

Fantasy Analysis:

Peterson is a competitor. He was determined to come back in the regular season opener and he did it. There's no good reason to sit him and he's a must-start as long as the Vikings play him. The Vikings' conservative approach means the former Oklahoma Sooner will touch the ball roughly 20 times. The only complaint should be that he hasn't found the end zone since Week 1 yet his yardage has made up for that to an extent.
