Friday has come and gone, and Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III
has yet to suffer any setbacks related to his Week 5 concussion. He is listed as questionable for Sunday, but that won't mean anything at all if he is cleared one more time by doctors to play against the Vikings. If Griffin passes a final set of tests this weekend, "He'll be ready to go," according to head coach Mike Shanahan.
Fantasy Analysis:
I'm not worried about RGIII for this weekend. He received a little less work than usual during the practice week, but everything seems to be copacetic for him. For the long term, well, Griffin just needs to be smarter while running with the ball (read: get out of bounds!). But how many times has that been said about Michael Vick, and he still puts his body in peril too often when running.
The matchup against the Vikings isn't special, but Griffin is still a QB1 as long as offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan sticks to his promise that the team's game plan will not change and that Griffin will continue to get his running plays.
