Rashard Mendenhall
isn't alone -- he left all of his fantasy owners sore Thursday. He gained just 17 yards on seven touches against the Titans and missed most of the second half with an Achilles injury. Fortunately for those owners, Mendenhall isn't expected to miss much more game time. A source who spoke with Mendenhall told NFL.com's Ian Rapoport that the injury is minor. According to the source, Mendenhall's Achilles tightened up on him, and the Steelers chose to take no chances, especially since Mendenhall is coming off an ACL tear.
Fantasy Analysis:
Meanwhile, Isaac Redman
suffered an ankle injury Thursday night. Jonathan Dwyer
was a healthy scratch. Baron Batch
scored a touchdown, and Chris Rainey
got into the game as well. This backfield is pretty messy with or without Mendenhall, but at least we know whom the top dog is if Mendenhall is healthy. We'll see how he progresses during the upcoming week. There's currently no telling if he'll play in Week 7 at Cincinnati.
