Patriots WR Brandon Lloyd injures shoulder, RB Brandon Bolden hurts knee

During their final drive on Sunday, New England Patriots wide receiver Brandon Lloyd @mrblloyd injured his shoulder while diving for a pass. Lloyd was able to return to the game. He had tests done, but left the stadium without mentioning the results. Running back Brandon Bolden @BB_HulkSmash struggled off the field after a kickoff. New England later announced he suffered a knee injury, which could be the same injury that kept him limited in practice earlier in the week. It was reported that Bolden was seen after the game walking under his own power. One early report by the Boston Herald also said that Lloyd's injury was not a major concern.

Fantasy Analysis:

As usual, injury details are cryptic out of New England. One of the notes in some reports said that Lloyd was "stone-faced" while leaving the stadium. Was he angry? Was he doing some kind of Mt. Rushmore impersonation? Whatever it is, details will trickle out over the week and we'll better understand each player's injury. Lloyd remains a solid WR3/flex option as far as I'm concerned. Bolden on the other hand should be on your waiver wire.
