Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kevin Kolb
was injured after getting tackled by two Buffalo Bills defenders. The early reports suggest that Kolb may have fractured his ribs and X-rays should come back at some point Monday. Kolb was down for several minutes after the play. QB John Skelton entered the game in his place and promptly went 2-for-10 and also threw an interception.
Fantasy Analysis:
The Cards started off 4-0 and now find themselves 4-2 after consecutive losses to the St. Louis Rams and Buffalo Bills. For a team that emerged early with playoff aspirations, they really need to turn it arouna and it won't get any easier with Minnesota, San Francisco, Green Bay, and Atlanta schedule for their next four games. If Skelton has to play, he's a fantasy backup at best and the same goes for Kolb. You wouldn't want to start either of them in any of those aforementioned games scheduled. Look for an update regarding Kolb's X-ray and his condition very soon.
