Giants WR Hakeem Nicks says injured knee 'wasn't feeling great' Sunday

At least Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks played and made it through Sunday's game against San Francisco. He had to tough it out, however. Nicks said after the game that his injured left knee "wasn't feeling great" while he was on the field. But Nicks knows that his knee should only improve moving forward.
"I didn't expect to come out here and be 'great great' in my first game back," Nicks said. "But I know it'll get better by net week and the week after that. It just takes time."
Nicks caught three passes for 44 yards in his first game since Week 2.

Fantasy Analysis:

Nicks got five targets on the days and looked OK. He made an unbelievable 26-yard catch along the sideline while being interfered with by Niners cornerback Tarrell Brown. The Giants get the Redskins next, a defense that you can certainly throw on. Nicks will likely miss some practice time, but he should be fine for that game and should be in your lineup.
