Falcons RB Michael Turner not happy with team's running game

The Falcons are 6-0, the only undefeated team in the league as they head into their Week 7 bye. But everything isn't cool in Hotlanta. One big area of concern is the Falcons' inability to run the ball. After Sunday's last-second win over the Raiders, they rank 25th in run offense, a fact that isn't lost on running back Michael Turner.
"I'm not sure why it's going like this," Turner said. "It's great to be 6-0 and everything. But we can't just assume we're always going to be able to get an interception or last-minute field goal every time. At some point, we're going to have to run the ball. We've got to be able to knock it in [the end zone]."

Fantasy Analysis:

Turner had strung together a few nice fantasy games before Sunday's 39-yard outing. Yes, he has performed better lately and should have gotten more than 11 carries versus Oakland, but this was a game in which he looked slow yet again, and his workloads aren't going to change much in the Falcons' pass-first offense. Turner remains a mid-range RB2.
