Due to what he described his Achilles feeling "irritated," Pittsburgh Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall
skipped the team's Monday workout. "It was just a little irritated," said Mendenhall. "It's a little tight. I'll just continue to work on it and get treatment. Hopefully, it will get better." The injury is not a tear or sprain. The four year vet is listed as questionable for Week 7 and CBS' Jason La Canfora believes he has a "good shot" to play. Redman is "hopeful" that he can play in Week 7 after injuring his ankle.
Fantasy Analysis:
Mendenhall missed most of Thursday's game against the Tennessee Titans. He was shut down too, only rushing for six yards on six carries. RB Isaac Redman
only rushed for 14 yards on five carries and also caught four passes for 105 yards. Redman should see decent playing time, assuming he's healthy, in Week 7 in order to not put a ton of pressure on Mendenhall's still-recovering body. The short week of rest and preparation certainly didn't do the Steelers any favors on the injury front.
