Jets RB Joe McKnight suffers high ankle sprain

It would be foolish to expect Jets running back Shonn Greene to come close to repeating his Week 6 stat line. However, considering the state of the rest of the Jets' backfield, it looks like Greene will certainly get enough chances to do so. The Jets are hoping Bilal Powell can return for Week 8 after dislocating a shoulder on Sunday. Joe McKnight @OfficialJoeJet will probably need more time off than just one week. A Monday MRI revealed that McKnight has a high ankle sprain.

Fantasy Analysis:

That most likely means McKnight will need at least a couple of weeks off. The Jets have a bye in Week 9, so it stands to reason that both of these runners won't see the field until Week 10 at the earliest.
So yes, Shonn Greene is going to get plenty of work again this week. But the Patriots' run defense is not the Colts' run defense. They have allowed the seventh-fewest fantasy points to running backs and just one touchdown to backs this season. I think Greene is best used as a low-end RB2 this week. Even better, try your darnedest to sell high on him.

I was offered Aaron Hernandez and Jonathan Stewart for Shonn Greene do i take it. Celek is my only TE and he's on a bye.

I would do that deal. I would like to see you get a better RB -- Stewart is bordering on worthless, but I think you are getting the best player in the deal pretty clearly. If you can avoid the hit at RB, I'd take it.
