Browns rookie wide reciever Josh Gordon has caught just five passes in the past two games, but he has surely made them eventful as he scored a touchdown from at least 60 yards out in each game.
"He's a long guy who is a huge mismatch, especially on safeties," quarterback Brandon Weeden said of Gordon on Monday. "He can do some things there. It's a great asset for us. He's come a long way, he's continuing to get more and more comfortable and grow each week."
Head coach Pat Shurmur and offensive coordinator Brad Childress have also mentioned in recent weeks that the "light is coming on" for Gordon.
Fantasy Analysis:
Gordon has scored three times in those two games, and is clearly the team's No. 1 WR right now, but he's not getting a lot of targets. You should pick him up for depth and maybe you can put him in your lineup as a bye-week fill-in, but if he doesn't catch that deep shot, Gordon is going to disappoint. But at least you know he is going to get a chance or two each week to turn in a big play. He is a major boom-or-bust WR3 this week versus the Colts.
