Alex Green will continue to be Packers' lead RB

Packers running back Alex Green @AGreen_20 got 22 carries on Sunday in Houston. James Starks @James44Starks got five. John Kuhn got two. Head coach Mike McCarthy said Monday that he was "very pleased" with Green and doesn't see the need to change how the carries are divided.
"Alex Green will be our lead running back," McCarthy said. "I see the games as we move forward reflecting the game we just played. That will be our approach. ... I think Alex Green is past the rep point. I mean, I have no reason to think that he can't carry a full load."

Fantasy Analysis:

It's a bit of an about-face from McCarthy who expressed concern last week over giving Green a full load of carries. Green gained just 65 yards on the ground, but it's the opportunity and the obvious trust the Packers' coaches have in him stands out. This week, the Packers face the Rams, who just shut down Reggie Bush. But I still think Green, because of the amount of work he is going to get, is a strong flex option or low-end RB2.
