No timetable for Redskins WR Pierre Garcon's return

The Washington Times is reporting that Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon @PierreGarcon still needs more time to head his injured foot according to quotes from head coach Mike Shanahan. "We're going ot hopefully give him a little time, get that thing healed," Shanahan said. "How long it'll take, I don't know: one, two days, two, three weeks, I really don't know. But he's a tough guy." Garcon has not yet been officially ruled out for Week 7.

Fantasy Analysis:

Garcon blew up in Week 1 and in the following five games, he's only tallied four receptions for 44 yards while sitting out three games. If you're still hoping he'll return soon, this news update is basically a slap in the face. Shanahan says it could be a day or it could be three weeks. Feel free to send him an angry letter. Hopefully by now you have found a suitable replacement who can be entrusted on a weekly basis. If not, it might be time to cut your losses and see if anyone else in your league will bite on a trade. To make matters worse, the three leading receivers for Washington (Santana Moss @EIGHTTODANINE, Leonard Hankerson @HankTime85, and Josh Morgan) all have very similar statistics. This lack of separation or diversity inhibits any of them from being viable fantasy players.
