There have been rumblings in the press regarding the status of both Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick
and offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg. Speculation was fueled after head coach Andy Reid suggested changes would be made after the firing of defensive coordinator Juan Castillo. Reid said Tuesday, "As I sit here today, [Vick is] the starting quarterback." Mornhinweg will call plays on offense for the foreseeable future.
Fantasy Analysis:
High expectations have caught up with the Eagles. A 3-3 start is causing a lot of second-guessing and finger-pointing among the media and fanbase. Vick, as far as I'm concerned, gives Philly their best shot to win. Rookie Nick Foles
is not the second coming. This upcoming game against the Atlanta Falcons on Oct. 28 can still redeem this team. The Eagles are only one game back in their division and it's way too early to hit the panic button. Vick remains a low-end QB1 in fantasy too.
