The gaudy receptions and yardage totals aren't there, yet Green Bay wide receiver James Jones has shown up where the Packers need him the most: the end-zone. In his last three games, the sixth-year veteran has scored six touchdowns, giving him a league-lead (7). "This is not a surprise for us, because we've known this side of James," Greg Jennings
said. "We've known him to be able to make plays. It's just a matter of being more consistent with doing it on the field on Sundays. He's been by far the best receiver we've had out on the football field."
Fantasy Analysis:
Even without the endorsement from Jennings, everyone's firmly planted on Jones' bandwagon. Depending on your scoring system, he's at least a high-end WR2 and has gone from a potential sleeper to Aaron Rodgers' safety blanket. As long as Jennings is unable to play, which is looking likely again here in Week 7, Jones is a must-start fantasy option. It would be nice to see his targets increase a little bit, if I may nitpick him.
