It was somewhat relieving to hear Thursday that the current problem with Ahmad Bradshaw's feet is not related to his previous ailments, which often led to surgery. But Bradshaw is still a huge question mark for Week 7. After going through limited practice on Thursday, Bradshaw was absent during Friday's practice and is officially questionable to play against the Redskins on Sunday. Head coach Tom Coughlin said that Bradshaw didn't suffer a setback and still hopes he can play.
In more positive news, wide receiver Hakeem Nicks took part in each of the three practices this week and is listed as probable.
Fantasy Analysis:
At least we don't have to worry about Nicks. He is a must-start against the Redskins' poor secondary.
Bradshaw will be a game-time decision, but this doesn't sound good. Beat writers reported that Bradshaw wasn't moving around during the media-allowed portion of practice. Plus, with both Andre Brown
and David Wilson
healthy, I don't think the Giants need to risk Bradshaw's foot getting worse. The puzzling thing here is that the Giants still aren't sold on Wilson. He has looked very effective with limited carries over the past two weeks, but offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride said Thursday that Wilson still "has a ways to go. He's got a lot of room for growth." Thus, while Wilson will get some work, Brown is probably the more valuable fantasy RB if Bradshaw is inactive. But check back here Sunday morning as we will have full info on all of the early game injured players.
