The Patriots have ruled out running back Brandon Bolden
for Sunday's game against the Jets. Bolden, who suffered an unspecified knee injury during Sunday's game against the Seahawks, didn't practice at all this week.
Per usual for the Patriots, they have listed many players as questionable. This week, they have 11 players wearing the Q on the injury report, including tight ends Rob Gronkowski
and Aaron Hernandez
and wide receivers Wes Welker
and Julian Edelman
. Those players were limited in practice all week.
Fantasy Analysis:
I write about it because those are some big-name players, but there is very little concern about those guys for this game. Hernandez missed Thursday's practice, but that seemed to be more for rest purposes. He and Gronk aren't fully healthy, but they should be in your lineups against the Jets. Same goes for Welker.
Stevan Ridley
will remain the Pats' lead RB with Bolden out. Danny Woodhead
should get on the field for third downs, and maybe Shane Vereen chips in as well. Ridley has a good matchup and is an RB1 this week.
