Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon
has missed four games already season and he may not return until after the Week 10 bye week because of a torn tendon. A source close to the team told the USA Today that Garcon isn't really as close to a return as the team has suggested in the media. More specifically, "[Washington was] publicly holding out hope... Privately, they knew he had virtually no shot."
Fantasy Analysis:
For all the hype and hoopla surrounding the Redskins, they're 3-3. No question, they have improved with RG3 but let's not get carried away. Garcon gives this team an added dimension on offense. He's an established deep threat and as soon as he's back and healthy, fantasy owners should have no hesitation when starting him again. Leonard Hankerson
has seen a big bump in playing time and had one of his better performances this week. If you're in need of depth, take a look at him.
