Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew
(left foot) and quarterback Blaine Gabbert
(left shoulder) were injured during Sunday's 26-23 overtime loss against the Oakland Raiders. Jones-Drew was hurt on only his second carry of the game and was carted off the field. MJD was seen on crutches and in a walking boot after the game. Fewer details are available regarding the extent of Gabbert's injury although more information should come out soon.
Fantasy Analysis:
The Jags really can't afford to lose Gabbert or Jones-Drew. Jacksonville is the only team to not yet score 100 points this season (88) and rank 32nd and 25th in passing and rushing, respectively. Fantasy owners should immediately grab backup Rashad Jennings
. He rushed 21 times for 44 yards and a touchdown, also adding seven receptions for 58 yards. He's a must-own in PPR leagues if MJD is forced to miss even one game. Chad Henne would start if Gabbert is held out.
