Packers cornerback Charles Woodson suffered an injury late in Sunday's win over the Rams. On Monday, it was discovered that Woodson had in fact broken his collarbone with a little less than three minutes to play. Woodson is expected to miss six weeks. He recorded 38 tackles, a forced fumble, an interception and 1.5 sacks in seven games this season.
Fantasy Analysis:
Oppposing QBs, take note. Statistically, Woodson hasn't been outstanding this year, but he still represents a problem for quarterbacks and wide receivers. Taking him out of the lineup certainly won't help the team's middle-of-the-road pass defense. Rookie Casey Hayward
, who started against St. Louis and has four interceptions in his last three games, is expected to replace Woodson. He wouldn't return until at least Week 14 with this current timetable.
