Lions WR Nate Burleson breaks leg, out for season

Detroit Lions wide receiver Nate Burleson @Nate13Burleson broke his right leg during Monday Night Football and will miss the rest of the season. Burleson had to leave the game after catching a 16-yard pass in the third quarter. Former Boise State receiver Titus Young @TitusYoung will replace Burleson in the starting lineup and rookie receiver Ryan Broyles @RyanBroyles should also see a big increase in playing time. Detroit may need to bring in an additional receiver since they only have five active players remaining.

Fantasy Analysis:

The Lions were already in trouble and this certainly doesn't help matters. Matthew Stafford @Staff_9 isn't playing like himself. Calvin Johnson @Bigplaycj is making the most of his limited opportunities. Titus Young has underachieved in what many thought would be a breakout season. Now, Burleson is out and it puts more pressure on two young receivers to step up and make plays. Young isn't an automatic add as far as I'm concerned. He's seen the field quite often already and hasn't done much for fantasy owners. That said, given his high upside, he's probably worth a look regardless.

Would you rather pick up Titus Young (injured) or Ryan Broyles? It's a bad matchup this week, but looking forward, who do you think has more upside?
