The Vikings are a little more than 48 hours away from kicking off their Week 8 game against the Buccaneers. So their practice week is limited as it is, and running back Adrian Peterson
wasn't in uniform for Tuesday's practice. He is still expected to play his normal role on Thursday night.
Fantasy Analysis:
This is nothing more than the Vikings giving their star players a little extra rest before Thursday's game. They kind of did the same with Percy Harvin by limiting him in today's practice. Both will be fine to face the Bucs. Peterson looked fantastic against the Cardinals in Week 7, averaging 6.7 yards per carry over 23 carries. He cut on a dime, broke through numerous ankle tackles and ran with tremendous power. The Bucs' run defense has been fairly stout this season, but you're not benching Peterson whenever he's active.
