As mentioned in a previous Lions' update, Detroit did not practice on Wednesday. If they did, wide receiver Titus Young
(knee) and tight end Brandon Pettigrew (knee) would have been limited participants. Both players were listed as probable heading into their Week 7 Monday Night Football game against the Chicago Bears. Young caught six passes for 81 yards and Pettigrew added five catches for 37 yards. Each player is expected to play this week.
Fantasy Analysis:
Now that Nate Burleson
has been placed on season-ending injured reserve, Young should see a spike in snaps and production. Pettigrew should also enjoy some added production as well. Many people, including myself, considered Young a sure-thing sleeper during the preseason, but it hasn't played out that way. Now that he will be thrust into the starting lineup, there's really no excuse for him to continue underachieving. Also keep an eye on rookie WR Ryan Broyles
out of Oklahoma in deeper formats.
