Tennessee Titans quarterback Jake Locker will not play in Week 8 against the Indianapolis Colts. That responsibility goes to Matt Hasselbeck
. Head coach Mike Munchak did note however that Locker threw the ball "really well" on Wednesday. It has long anticipated that Hasselbeck would play this week. The early prognosis is that the team is optimistic that Locker may return next week.
Fantasy Analysis:
Locker hasn't played since being knocked out of the game early in Week 4 against the Houston Texans. That was back on Sept. 30. In the four games since, Tennessee is 2-2 and riding a two-game win streak. Indianpolis has struggled against the run this season so fantasy owners shouldn't insert Hasselbeck into their lineups. Once Locker returns, there's no doubt he'll pick up as the team's starter regardless of how Hasselbeck performs.
