Although it isn't a ringing endorsement, Cleveland Browns head coach Pat Shurmur does feel that running back Trent Richardson looked "way better Wednesday than he did the previous Wednesday" according to Scott Petrak, a local Browns beat writer. It was Shurmur's decision to bench Richardson last week after the rookie struggled to play like himself because of a nagging rib cartilage injury.
Fantasy Analysis:
Richardson recently said that he has no plans to "sit down." He wants to play through this injury and that's what great players in the NFL do. Every guy in the locker room is hurting right now so I commend his attitude. The key here depends on how well his body responds in the coming weeks. Trading Richardson right now would probably be a mistake. He's banged up and his stock couldn't be much lower considering how well he had been playing. Unless someone offers you a great deal, you're going to have to tough this one out and hope that he returns to his former glory.
