Rams WR Danny Amendola has 50-50 shot of playing Sunday

Danny Amendola @DannyAmendola's chances of making an unbelievably quick return to the field still exist this week. He is officially questionable after going through non-contact practice all week. Amendola is a little more than three weeks removed from dislocating his right collarbone inward, a seemingly unprecedented injury in the NFL that could have been life-threatening.

Fantasy Analysis:

So yes, Amendola is listed as questionable. However, no beat writers are giving him a legitimate chance of playing in this game, especially with the Rams on bye in Week 9. But if he is available in your league, you need to pick up Amendola immediately. Although he hasn't played since Week 5, he still leads the Rams in receptions and receiving yards.
For this week against the Patriots, I love Chris Givens @CG1three. As myself and George Bissell mentioned last night on the FFToolbox podcast, the Patriots have given up 39 plays of more than 20 yards to WRs this season, far and away the most in the league. Givens has racked up a 50-yard play in four consecutive weeks, so the matchup is certainly favorable for him to break off another big play.

Do you like Amendola or Steve Smith for ROY Week 10 on?

I'll go with Steve Smith. I think the touchdowns will come, and I think Sam Bradford has discovered that he has other options than just Amendola out there. I'm not sure he thought that before Danny got hurt.

So would you play Bradford over Weeden or Stafford this week? I like Bradford's matchupbut still hopeful Stafford will wake up at some point this year....

Thanks,

Ed
