Howard Eskin, a local reporter in the Philadelphia area, has stated that the Eagles will make a change at quarterback by sitting Michael Vick
and starting Nick Foles
in Week 9. Nothing official has come out yet, but this information has been spreading since late Sunday night. Look for more information to come out when the Eagles make a formal announcement.
Fantasy Analysis:
Michael Vick finally didn't turn the ball over at all on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons and now, he apparently will take a back seat to Foles. Through the first six weeks of the season, Vick threw eight picks and lost five fumbles. Philly is now 3-4 after a three-game losing streak. Dallas is also 3-4 and Washington is 3-5. Foles was a third-round draft choice out of Arizona in the 2012 NFL Draft. In 2011, he completed 387 of his 560 passes (69.1 percent) for 4,334 yards and 28 TDs for the Wildcats. If you need a QB, give him a shot, but don't expect very much right away even if he sticks as the starter.
