The latest from ESPN's Adam Schefter is that the St. Louis Rams have been fielding trade offers for running back Steven Jackson
from multiple teams. The NFL's trade deadline was Tuesday, but is now Thursday because of Hurricane Sandy. Schefter noted that the Cowboys, Packers, Cardinals, and Steelers are teams that "make sense" as potentially interested teams. Green Bay general manager Ted Thompson has made offers for Jackson in the past.
Fantasy Analysis:
The Rams have been rebuilding behind QB Sam Bradford since his arrival. Needless to say, Jackson's time with the team have been numbered for a couple seasons now. On Sunday, he rushed for 23 yards on seven carries, his lowest total this season. On the other hand, backup RB Daryl Richardson and Isaiah Pead combined for 85 yards on 10 carries. Since multiple teams are paper-thin at running back, adding Jackson would definitely provide stability. For fantasy owners though, where he ends up could drastically swing his value up or down.
