Miami Dolphins rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill
has a "50-50" shot at playing on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts, according to Yahoo Sports' Jason Cole. Tannehill was a limited participant Thursday and he required having his knee drained before and after practice. Backup QB Matt Moore is also dinged up with a calf injury but was able to practice in full. Moore completed 11-of-19 passes against the New York Jets last week for 131 yards and a score. Miami is currently 4-3, a half game behind the New England Patriots and certainly still in the mix for a playoff spot.
Fantasy Analysis:
Kudos to head coach Joe Philbin for making the Dolphins competitive through the first half of the season and let's not forget that Miami lost in Weeks 3 and 4 by a total of six points. This team is basically a touchdown away from being a one-loss team. As for Tannehill, he hasn't been much of a fantasy option even when healthy, so there's no reason to consider him this week. The same can be said for Moore. This offense ranks 23rd in the NFL and has failed to produce much of a fantasy impact excluding Reggie Bush
and the occasional outburst by Brian Hartline
.
