Tom Pelissero from ESPN Radio 1500 Twin Cities tweeted earlier today that the Vikings were "hopeful" that wide receiver Percy Harvin
would be able to play this Sunday against the Lions. Colleague Judd Zulgad tweeted some details a couple hours later that probably diminished some of that hope. Zulgad writes that Harvin got around the team's facility on crutches Monday, and Harvin said his ankle is sprained in three places.
Fantasy Analysis:
Harvin played through the pain against the Seahawks, but it's hard to imagine him being ready to go versus the Lions in six days. It's a huge hit to the Vikings offense as Jerome Simpson
and Michael Jenkins would become Minnesota's lead wideouts if Harvin is held out. Considering that the Vikings have a bye in Week 11, that would probably be the smart move. The Lions should expect to see an extremely heavy dose of Adrian Peterson.
