When a multi-week injury such as a high ankle sprain is combined with injury-prone running back Darren McFadden
, a quick recovery is expected by no one. Well, almost no one. Yahoo.com's Jason Cole wrote Monday that McFadden is "expected to be back" for Sunday's game against the Saints after missing just one game.
Fantasy Analysis:
However, McFadden and teammate Mike Goodson
were seen Monday still sporting walking boots. I am extremely skeptical that McFadden could be able to play this week, but as always, we'll know a lot more by Wednesday or Thursday. Marcel Reece
would probably handle the bulk of the backfield touches again if those two are inactive for the Saints game. Given the matchup, his versatility and his workload -- he had 20 touches versus the Ravens and doubled the combined touches total of Taiwan Jones
and Jeremy Stewart -- I think Reece is a pretty nice flex option for Week 11.
