We know C.J. Spiller
will see more touches with Fred Jackson unavailable for Thursday's game against the Dolphins. Just how much more? Head coach Chan Gailey is throwing out some numbers, and they should make Spiller's fantasy owners very happy.
"If [Spiller] needs to run it 20, 25 times a game for us to win, 30 times a game for us to win, that's what we'll do," Gailey said on Tuesday. "We're not afraid to do that. We don't think he's a fragile player or anything like that. We think he's a strong player that can go carry it as many times as we need to carry it to win."
Fantasy Analysis:
I don't own Spiller, but I can't wait to see what he does on Thursday. The Dolphins have a stellar run defense, but Spiller seems like a matchup-proof player. Barring injury, he's basically a lock for at least a 100 total yards and is a high-end RB1 this week.
