Arizona Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt reiterated his point that rookie wide receiver Michael Floyd will continue to see an increase in snaps after their bye. This means Floyd will move up to No. 2 while WR Andre Roberts
will slide into the slot. In Weeks 8 and 9, Floyd caught 10 passes for 116 yards. As a comparison, Roberts had 11 receptions for 151 yards.
Fantasy Analysis:
Even though Floyd is playing more, that does not automatically qualify him as a more valuable fantasy option than Roberts. The latter is still a Top 25 option at his position, while Floyd is nothing more than a bench player in dynasty leagues. Arizona is merely being upfront that they want to get their young and promising players more playing time for evaluation. This is standard for teams that aren't realistically competing for a playoff spot. The Cards are still two offensive tackles away from competing for much of anything.
