Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson
missed Week 8 against the Jaguars because of a hamstring injury that popped up during the preceding practice week. Just as he returned in Week 9, he suffered an ankle injury. Now coming off a bye, Nelson is ready to play again, hopefully for a full 60 minutes this time. Nelson is officially listed as probable on the injury report. He is expected to start and play his normal amount of snaps Sunday against the Lions.
Fantasy Analysis:
Nelson has reportedly had a great week of practice and is looking like his usual self. He should be able to run free and easy against a Lions secondary with a bunch of holes. Nelson turned in back-to-back 100-yard games with four total touchdowns before the injuries struck. FFToolbox ranks Nelson as the No. 14 WR this week, but he has a very high ceiling.
