In a recent interview with Fox Sports Radio, Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew
said that he wants to return in a couple of weeks. "It's definitely not going to be the year, but with a foot injury you don't want to mess around with it and come back at 70 or 80 percent," Jones-Drew said. "It's just one of those things that's going to take a little bit of time but it's doing much better."
Fantasy Analysis:
A couple weeks would equal a Week 13 return, just in time for the fantasy playoffs. Give him a week to get his feet under him in Week 13, then stick him back in your starting lineup for Week 14. Rashad Jennings
has not rushed for many yards, but his reception totals were keeping him afloat in PPR leagues. Last week, he didn't get many looks on a short week and now Jennings will face a tough Houston defense. Point being is that it is unlikely Jennings performs really well in the short-term to unseat Jones-Drew as the starter once he is healthy.
