Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin
did not attend Monday's practice as he continues to rest his ankle injury coming off the bye week. His injury occured in Week 9 and he did not play in Week 10. A report from last week stated that Minnesota does expect Harvin to play in Week 12 against the Chicago Bears. This is a situation that will be updated daily and could likely become a game-time decision.
Fantasy Analysis:
Harvin's ankle injury was "only" a sprain and at that time, this was considered to be a favorable diagnosis since there were fears it was something more serious. The way to look at it now is that this was a very severely sprained ankle and even though the former Florida Gator is seen as a tough player who can play through injuries, this is obviously a serious injury. In a previous news update, I recommended trading away Harvin after his injury. His value has dropped significantly since then and he's still not a lock to play this week either. Fantasy owners will now just have to hang onto him and hope for the best in his eventual return.
