Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones
has missed portions of the past two games because of a pesky ankle injury. If he keeps continuing on the track he's on, he'll at least be on the field Sunday against the Buccaneers. Whether he stays on it is another story. Jones went through limited practice Thursday. It's a step up after he was available for just a walk-through on Wednesday. He will likely be a game-time decision.
Fantasy Analysis:
Things are looking up for Julio. Head coach Mike Smith said he expects Jones to pick up his practice participation as the week ages, and that's what is happening. He should be able to play on Sunday, and I think you've got to put him in your lineup if he's out there. The risk of re-injury is moderately high, but a player with Jones' talents in that powerful offense against a pitiful pass D needs to be started whenever possible. We'll see what he does on Friday.
