Nov. 24 update: Harvin has been officially ruled out for Sunday's game. He didn't make the team flight to Chicago.
---------------------------------------
We've already seen reports from earlier this week that Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin
won't play Sunday against the Bears due to his sprained ankle. On Friday, the team stopped short of ruling him out, but it came as close as you can get. Harvin is officially doubtful for the game. While he did some stretching with the team, Harvin reportedly limped off the field when those exercises ended. Head coach Leslie Frazier said he would need to see Harvin practice before playing. Harvin hasn't practiced since sustaining the injury Nov. 4 against the Seahawks.
"Percy gave it a try in pre-practice," Frazier said. "Really couldn't put a lot of weight on the ankle at this point."
Fantasy Analysis:
Expected. Jarius Wright
will continue to see more playing time in Harvin's absence, and Jerome Simpson
and Michael Jenkins will be in the starting lineup against the Bears. Simply, you shouldn't care about the Vikings' passing attack this weekend.
