Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy told reporters that wide receiver Greg Jennings
will be a "full participant and ready to go" against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 13. Jennings has been out since Week 4, or more specifically, since Sept. 30. The Packers are still in the mix for a divisional title and have an outside shot at an opening round bye. Jennings will need to carve out a new role between Randall Cobb
, Jordy Nelson
, and James Jones.
Fantasy Analysis:
Once Jennings is healthy and in the starting lineup, fantasy owners should not hesitate to use him. Unless you have must-starts at your WR spots and at your flex, Jennings is still technically the best guy on his team at the position. Stowing him on your roster this long only to bench him when he is ready to play does not make any sense. This may be a very aggressive play, but unless Jennings is very limited in practices leading up to the game, it could be a mistake sitting him.
