Bills RB Fred Jackson plays more snaps, relegated to pass protection

Even though Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson @Fred22Jackson played more snaps than C.J. Spiller @CJSPILLER (32 to 29 snaps, respectively), Jackson was largely regulated to a pass-protection role which only led to only seven touches for 24 total yards. Spiller on the other hand had 14 carries for 107 rushing yards. Neither back had really established or separated himself until Spiller did this week.

Fantasy Analysis:

The Bills would be best served giving Spiller the ball as much as he could handle. He is the more explosive and dynamic option. Make defenses chase Spiller all over the field and then pound them with Jackson depending on the flow of the game. Spiller will face one of the league's worst defenses next week when they host the Jacksonville Jaguars. Fantasy owners should sit Jackson unless they are in desperate need of a back.
