The Cowboys hope to get running back DeMarco Murray
on the practice field for the first time in seven weeks on Wednesday, but his playing status remains up in the air, according to ESPN's Ed Werder. Murray hasn't played nor practiced since mid-October because of a sprained foot.
The good news for the Cowboys' offense is that wide receiver Miles Austin
should be able to play against the Eagles. He suffered hip and hamstring injuries early in the Thanksgiving Day game against the Redskins, but a source has told Werder that he is expected to recover in time for Dallas' Week 13 game.
Fantasy Analysis:
The fact that Austin likely won't need to miss any further game action after another hamstring injury is a little bit surprising. But he would be a nice WR2 if we know for sure that he will play -- the game is on Sunday night, so you need to have alternate plans available, just in case. The Eagles' defense has pretty much quit.
We'll see what Murray can do later this week. I'm still expecting Felix Jones
to remain the starting running back and be a mid-range RB2 on Sunday.
