Raiders running back Darren McFadden
seems close to playing after a three-game absence due to a high ankle sprain. McFadden practiced Wednesday for the first time since getting hurt. Marcel Reece
has picked up a lot of the slack while McFadden has been out, and he gained at least 100 yards from scimmage in each of those three games. McFadden rushed for 455 yards and two touchdowns in his first eight games this season.
Fantasy Analysis:
Mike Goodson
, who is also coming off a high ankle sprain, also practiced, so the Raiders will apparently have the cupboard full against the Browns. A few weeks ago, I couldn't wait for McFadden to return. But since then, I've picked up Reece and now I don't want Run-DMc to come back. Reece has looked much better in the last few weeks than McFadden has at any time this year. And now we're probably going to be looking at some sort of timeshare with those two runners. I'm guessing McFadden will get the early down work if he plays, but this will be an interesting situation to watch this weekend.
