For the second week in a row, Vikings wide recevier Percy Harvin
has been ruled out one day prior to kickoff. He won't play Sunday against the Packers because of his sprained ankle. He tested it out on Wednesday, but that didn't go very well as numerous reports stated that Harvin looked uncomfortable changing directions and limped while going in and out of his breaks. He didn't practice on Thursday or Friday and was listed as doubtful on the injury report before today's news.
Fantasy Analysis:
I said a couple of days ago that you shouldn't be depending upon any Vikings player other than Adrian Peterson for fantasy purposes this weekend. But that is not entirely true. Tight end Kyle Rudolph
has scored in the past two games and while the Packers are statistically pretty strong against tight ends, he is a low-end TE1. Also, Jarius Wright
has looked like the team's top wideout over the past two weeks while filling in for Harvin out of the slot. He is an option for those of you in deep PPR leagues. The Packers' pass defense certainly leaves a lot to be desired. Just keep your expectations in check.
