Ravens running back Bernard Pierce
carried the ball nine times last week for 34 yards. In fact, in the past four games, he has 28 carries, and head coach John Harbaugh said he would like to see more of that.
"I like Bernard PIerce," Harbaugh told the Baltimore Sun earlier this week. "Bernard Pierce is a really good player. We're not going to shy away from Bernard Pierce carrying the ball. I'd like to see him carry the ball more and more."
Fantasy Analysis:
No worries, Ray Rice
owners. He's still getting plenty of touches -- at least 25 in three of the past four games -- and I seem to remember him doing pretty well when Ricky Williams was the one taking a handful of carries away. With the bye weeks over, all Rice owners should pick up Pierce, his clear handcuff. It sounds like the team would have no concerns about giving him a full workload if something were to happen to their best offensive player.
