The Philadelphia Eagles announced Monday that rookie quarterback Nick Foles
will be entrenched as the starter for the remainder of the season. Andy Reid made the announcement during Monday's press conference. QB Michael Vick
is still in Phase 4 of his recovery although the head coach said that was not a part of their consideration. Foles passed for 251 yards and a score against the Cowboys in Week 13.
Fantasy Analysis:
So what does the future hold for Vick and the Eagles in 2013? That's the big question here. The team has obviously found a great commodity in RB Bryce Brown yet the jury is still out on Foles, who will need time to develop. Another problem is whether or not Reid will return as the Eagles head coach next year. This season has been a rude awakening for everyone in the organization and they might feel it is time to rebuild in a new direction. Foles is not an option for fantasy owners in the remaining weeks of the season though, regardless of who's playing or coaching.
