Packers RB James Starks might miss rest of season with knee injury

Packers head coach Mike McCarthy has made no direct mention of running back James Starks
having a knee injury, but a league source has told ESPN Milwaukee that Starks did suffer a knee injury during Sunday's win over the Vikings, and it may be bad enough to end his season with just four games left on the schedule. The source said the injury does not involve the ACL and will not require surgery, but the team is still thinking about placing Starks on injured reserve.
Fantasy Analysis:
Knee sprain? Deep bone bruise? Expect clarification from the team on this story Wednesday. Starks looked pretty good against the Vikings -- 15 carries for 66 yards and a score -- but, man, he gets injured a lot. He missed half of this season due to a case of turf toe that he picked up in early August. If he is out for the year, Alex Green
would likely re-gain his role as the Packers' lead back, but he would be a low-end RB2 at best.
