Chiefs 'concerned' WR Dwayne Bowe has broken ribs

Dwayne Bowe @DwayneBowe82 has been just a WR3 or bench fodder for fantasy owners for a handful of weeks. If you are still tempted to put him in your starting lineup, you probably won't even have that option for next week's game versus the Raiders. Bowe didn't make it through a quarter of today's loss to the Browns due to a rib injury. Specifically, the Chiefs are "concerned" that Bowe suffered two broken ribs on Sunday, according to CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora.

Fantasy Analysis:

Confirmation of the broken ribs should come after a Monday MRI. This type of injury means that Bowe will most likely miss Week 15 and given the Chiefs' sorry state of affairs, why wouldn't the team just shut him down? Bowe has registered just seven fantasy points just once since Week 4, so you shouldn't have been depending on him too much anyway. Jamaal Charles is the only Chief you can start and still give yourself an honest chance of winning your league.
