Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson
will be out for at least two or three weeks. The 31-year-old back was hit in the knee by an opponent's helmet. Head coach Chan Gailey said after the game that the injury "did not look good." Beyond that, details are sparse about the injury. C.J. Spiller
figures to see an increase in touches after only carrying the ball seven times for 37 yards in a 15-12 loss against the St. Louis Rams.
Fantasy Analysis:
Jackson has had a very rough season. He has only played in 10 games and currently only has 437 yards. His longest run is 15 yards and he has a career-high four fumbles lost. He also has a career-low in yards per carry (3.8). Jackson appears to have hit the wall although some may debate against that notion. For the short-term, Jackson could be done for the season and may only return in the regular season finale. Fantasy owners would be best served dropping Jackson for New York Giants RB David Wilson or Jacksonville's Montell Owens.
