The Arizona Cardinals have placed quarterback Kevin Kolb
on injured reserve Wednesday, thus ending his already injury-plauged 2012 season. Head coach Ken Whisenhunt has named rookie QB Ryan Lindley the starter in Week 15 against the Detroit Lions. On the season, Lindley is only completing 48-percent of his passes and has thrown zero TDs and five INTs. Granted, four of those picks came against the St. Louis Rams, but with Lindley under center, the Cardinals have played terribly on offense.
Fantasy Analysis:
Lindley has been a fantasy kiss of death for the Cardinals. Larry Fitzgerald
has been become waiver wire fodder for some leagues and has not scored a touchdown since Nov. 4. Whether you are talking about the Cards' offensive line or their miserable quarterback play, this team needs to hit the reset button from top to bottom. There's no reason to own any of these players except maybe Beanie Wells and even he is terrible.
