A source told ESPN that Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant
told the organization he plans on playing in Week 15. Bryant is currently dealing with a serious broken left index finger and a hand specialist recommended surgery. Bryant previously stated, "They'd have to break my leg to keep me out." After receiving a second opinion, the former Oklahoma State receiver has decided to delay surgery and play through the pain as best he can. He has seven TDs in his last five games.
Fantasy Analysis:
Bryant is playing lights-out football right now and if he does play, fantasy owners should make a leap of faith by sticking with him. During the second half of this season, Bryant has turned a so-so season into a great one and could come close to doubling his rookie numbers here in his third season. Dallas may not have a great shot at making the postseason, but it would only make the task that much harder with Bryant sidelined.
