Report: Cowboys have 'solution' to protect WR Dez Bryant's broken finger

With Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant @DezBryant determined to play in Sunday's game against the Steelers, the team has been trying to come up with something that will help guard his broken digit and still allow him to do his job at a high level. According to ESPN's Ed Werder, the team has done that, but there is one important caveat.
"Cowboys have solution to protect Dez Bryant's broken finger that allows him to catch passes but will be painful game for him," Werder tweeted Friday.
Bryant was officially listed as limited during Friday's practoce and reportedly played some catch with running back DeMarco Murray in which Bryant, who is left-handed, threw the ball back with his healthy right hand.

Fantasy Analysis:

Bryant will be a game-time decision, but it's hard to envision him not at least suiting up Sunday afternoon. I think he actually has a better chance of playing than Robert Griffin III right now. Obviously, Bryant is carrying some risk in his left hand, but he has been too productive lately for you to bench him if he is active, especially against the Steelers' poor secondary. You may want to have some kind of insurance since this is a late-afternoon kick, but I'm confident we'll see Dez on Sunday.

But they had to start their 3rd- and 4th-best CBs. That's what I meant by "poor." Stats aren't everything.
